Claudia Panizza is an award-winning interior designer with more than 15 years experience providing a complete range of design services to prominent residential and commercial clients.

She works on projects nationwide, but she specializes in designing the interiors of homes in high end New Jersey communities like Westfield, Warren, Short Hills, Summit, Morristown and others. Her commercial design portfolio includes executive offices, restaurants, delicatessens, and hair salons.

Claudia’s work has been featured in such national publications as Women’s Day and Small Room Decorating and in a book entitled Can’t Fail Window Treatments. She provides design services ranging from project management and space planning to furniture selection and kitchen and bath remodeling. She also offers interior consultations, sharing her expertise on color, window treatments, fabric selection and other topics.

With her experience in new construction and remodeling, she designs both classic and contemporary interiors. But she purposely avoids a “signature style” so that she can adapt her designs to meet clients’ wants and needs.

She is one of the region’s few bilingual professionals with an international interior design background. A native of Colombia, she studied interior design in South America and has researched global design trends in her travels around the world.

Claudia’s company, CP Interior Design, includes a team of some of the state’s most distinguished contractors, cabinetmakers, decorative artists, carpenters, drapery workroom pros, upholsterers, electricians, plumbers, and others. In addition, the firm has a vast network of vendors and suppliers of everything from furniture to fabrics to flooring.

Claudia honed her skills while serving as a senior designer and project manager for Interior Decisions, Inc., a prominent New Jersey-based design firm headed by Karla Trincanello. Prior to that, she was the most successful sales representative and Interior Designer for Valley Furniture in Watchung, NJ. She also worked with a commercial design firm in Summit, NJ.

She’s an allied member of the American Association of Interior Designers, the nation’s largest and longest-established organization for design professionals. Claudia, who graduated as a chef from the French Culinary Institute, developed expertise on kitchen and delicatessen design while serving an internship following graduation.

She is also a graduate of Kean University, where she earned an interior design degree.
